Custom Artwork

Do you have an image in your mind you’d like to see as original artwork? Or maybe you have a special memory you’d like to see honored? Whether the artwork is for yourself or for a friend, I would love to work with you to create something meaningful and beautiful!

I am open to all ideas, but will only agree to do a commission that I believe works well with my style and is something I would enjoy spending time creating. If your idea seems like a good fit, I will work with you extensively to create the full vision for the artwork (understanding the “why” behind the artwork, sharing rough sketches and color swatches, and size and medium). I prefer working from reference photos that you might have, but they are not required.
I enjoy painting landscapes like rolling hills, fields, and trees, architecture, indoor spaces (more specifically cozy and homey spaces) and sometimes animals. I will not take on portraits.

Once we have decided on the direction for the artwork, a 20% nonrefundable down payment is required before I will begin. This covers the cost of supplies and any cancellations. This also confirms your spot on a waitlist if there happens to be one at the time. You will receive an invoice via email to make this payment.
Upon completion of the artwork, you will receive a final invoice that includes the remaining balance, the cost of shipping and any tax that might be collected.

I price canvas paintings based on height x width x 1.5

Example: a painting that is 12” x 12” would be $216 plus the cost of shipping and taxes. (12x12x1.5=216)

The price for digital art commissions start at $40. I can tell you the exact amount after we know the preferred size.

As an artist who is also a stay-at-home mom, I work on commissions as I have time. This means you can expect a one to two month timeline for a completed piece. I will update you regularly on my progress.

I do my best to ensure all artwork is packaged safe and secure. The cost of shipping is covered by the customer. The price of shipping varies on the size of your commission and where it is being shipped to.
