FAQ
How long do commissions take to be completed?
A minimum of one month’s time is required for completion of the artwork after I have received the initial payment (either full payment or 50% if you decide to pay in two installments). On average, it takes me one to two months to complete a commission depending on the request. I will keep you updated regularly on my progress to let you know when to expect the artwork. Shipping time is not included.
Can I request a different size canvas that you don’t have listed?
No. I purchase my canvas from Blick’s so I list sizes that they supply and also that I enjoy painting on.
When and how do I pay for a commission?
Payment can be made in either one or two installments. The initial payment (at least 50%) is due no later than 48 hours after all the details are finalized and you’ve given me the go ahead to start. If making a second payment, this one is due two weeks after the first. I will not start working on the piece until the initial payment is received. As of now, I can accept payment via Venmo or PayPal.
Can I return or exchange a commissioned piece if I don’t like it?
Unfortunately, no. By asking me to create a painting or digital art print, you are allowing me to have artistic freedom to recreate your ideas. I work with you extensively before payment is made to ensure you are content with the direction I will take with the artwork.
If damage happens during transit, then we can discuss compensation options together.
What happens after I submit a commission request?
I will receive an email with your response. You can expect a response from my in 2-5 business days. We will discuss all details via email correspondence.
Why don’t I see prices listed for commissioned digital art prints in the form?
I don’t know how much the artwork will cost to be printed until I know the dimensions you want. I am able to calculate how much the commission will be after I know the dimensions.
