FAQ
How long do commissions take to be completed?
As an artist who is also a stay-at-home mom, I work on commissions as I have time. This means you can expect a one to two month timeline for a completed piece. I will update you regularly on my progress.
How do I pay for a commission?
Once we have decided on the direction for the artwork, a 20% nonrefundable down payment is required before I will begin. This covers the cost of supplies and any cancellations. This also confirms your spot on a waitlist if there happens to be one at the time. You will receive an invoice via email to make this payment.
Upon completion of the artwork, you will receive a final balance invoice that includes the cost of shipping and any tax that might be collected.
I price painting commissions based on height x width x 1.5
Example: a painting that is 12” x 12” would be $216 plus the cost of shipping and taxes. (12x12x1.5=216)
The price for digital art commissions start at $40. I can tell you the exact amount after we know the preferred size.
Can I return or exchange a commissioned piece if I don’t like it?
Unfortunately, no. By asking me to create a painting or digital art print, you are allowing me to have artistic freedom to recreate your ideas. I work with you extensively before payment is made to ensure you are content with the direction I will take with the artwork.
If damage happens during transit, then we can discuss compensation options together.
What happens after I submit a contact form?
I will receive an email with your response. You can expect a response from my in 2-5 business days. We will discuss all details via email correspondence.
